Metal Motivation Monday
This was a personal design project that lasted the entire year of 2015. 52 posters were designed in 52 weeks as a tribute to my favorite “motivational” heavy metal songs and bands. Each poster was illustrated to compliment the lyrics or mood of the band/song and show the band/song in a new light. Posters were uploaded each Monday and announced by hashtag (#MetalMotivationMonday) on the Metal Motiv Twitter page, posted on Dribbble, and the Metal Motiv site.
The project gained international attention from fans, blogs, A&R reps, musicians, and even some of the bands. The hope is to continue to make rock art, gig posters, and merch. Attached here are a few selected favorites. Rock!
